The Rock of Cashel or ‘Patricks Rock’ is located in County Tipperary in the Golden Vale of Ireland. According to legend, it came from the nearby ‘Devil’s Bit’ mountain and is the site St. Patrick converted the King of Munster back in the 5th century. An iconic fortress seen for miles around – it must have been some sight in medieval times.
